Activision is working on an Angry Birds release for consoles, the company has revealed, though details on the exact form it will take are sketchy.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, Activision made the announcement by displaying a red bird crashing into the publisher's logo on the video wall at its E3 booth.

"We'll have some news for you in about two weeks," a spokesperson told the site.
"Wait until you see Angry Birds on consoles in HD."
The news comes after Rovio announced downloads of the firm's latest major mobile release, Angry Birds Space, surpassed 100 million within little over two months.
