Further to the news that Nokia isn't selling many Lumia devices in North America, the company has acted.
It's cut the price of its flagship Lumia 900 device (on a two year contract) from $99.99 to $49.99.
Of course, one of the issues with the current Lumia range is that it won't be upgraded to the full Windows 8 OS when that's released in October. Instead they will get the Windows Phone 7.8 update.
Bad news
The move happens prior to the announcement of Nokia's Q2 figures this Thursday, which aren't expected to be good.
Nokia is expected to have sold around 10 million smartphones during the quarter, compared to 50 million for Samsung and 30 million iPhones from Apple.
Nokia's already weak share price has been hit by the news, down 3 percent today.
