Japanese online and mobile developer Aiming Inc has raised $3.1 million (¥300 million) to fuel its expansion.
The money was invested by Nissay Capital Co. Ltd, which had previously funded the company.
Aiming's total capital reserves are now $12.6 million (¥1.2 billion).
Systems go
Not yet well known outside of Japan and Korea, its most successful game is Lord of Knights, which has just been released on the west via DeNA's network Mobage under the name Kingdom Corps.
Aiming also recently signed a deal with Sega Networks, which will be publishing some of its titles internationally under the label Sega x Aiming.
With offices in Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan and Korea, Aiming is expanding in Korea too, where it operates a joint venture company, A-SOFT, with Chinese publisher Chukong.
