Amazon has introduced support for iOS to its GameCircle achievement and score-tracking service, responding to requests from several developers within the Amazon ecosystem.
The update comes just two months after Amazon opened up GameCircle to non-Kindle Android devices, allowing players to switch devices without losing their game progress, high scores, or achievements.
Better still, the new cross-platform implementation is free for both players and developers.
Circular logic
For developers, there's an extra incentive to integrate GameCircle achievements.
Once they're introduced to a build, the developer will gain automatic access to Achievement Reports thus allowing them to get a clearer understanding of how players are interacting with the game.
Amazon suggests that implementation of these new services will take less than an hour, once you download the SDK from the Mobile App Distribution Portal.
