Developer uses crowdfunding to turn Olympic dreams into reality

Over the years crowdfunding has been used in all manner of ways, and now Olympic hopeful Paul Bragiel is using it to help athletes pursue their own Olympic dreams.

Bragiel is using Indiegogo to raise funds for an iOS endless runner, suitably titled Team Paul Skiing.

Dare to dream

What sets Bragiel's funding campaign apart from others is the fact that 50 percent of the funds raised will go towards Olympic hopefuls who are continuously struggling with debt as they attempt to compete on the biggest stage of all.

The game itself is being developed by On5, who has plenty of pedigree having previously worked with publishers such as EA, Atari, Samsung, and DeNA.

Team Paul Skiing is slated for completion in mid-December, and it will features three levels set in Finland, Colombia, and Russia.

However, the project currently needs your backing if it's going to reach its $10,000 target and become a reality.

For more information, and to donate to the project, visit the official Indiegogo page for Team Paul Skiing.

What do you call someone who has an unhealthy obsession with video games and Sean Bean? That'd be a 'Chris Kerr'. Chris is one of those deluded souls who actually believes that one day Sean Bean will survive a movie. Poor guy.
