Nexon Korea, a subsidiary of Japanese developer Nexon, has acquired Big Huge Games,.
The Maryland developer is already working with Nexon's US mobile publishing arm Nexon M with its successful F2P mobile strategy game DomiNations.
It was one of PocketGamer.biz's Games of 2015.
The terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but given DomiNations' success, it will be been a double-digit million deal.
The acquisition will see the two companies continuing to work together for the foreseeable future on the aforementioned game, which surpassed 19 million downloads in March 2016, including solid success in Korea and Japan.

A great relationship
The game was co-developed by Nexon and Big Huge Games, with Nexon handling publishing duties, and the relationship will continue much the same following the acquisition.
