Taking the beast that is the 12.9-inch iPad Pro announced in 2015 and returning to its historiclly favoured tablet size, Apple has announced a new iPad Pro with a smaller, 9.7-inch screen.
Aimed sqaurely at those looking to replace their Windows PCs - the number of 5-year-old PCs still in use descirbed as "sad" - Apple is keen to hammer home its capabilities.
Smaller size, same power
Like the larger iPad Pro, it is Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil compatible. It also boasts the same A9X chip, which makes it a powerful device indeed.
It will also ship with a powered USB 3.0 adaptor.
Coming in 32, 128 and - for the first time ever - 256GB models, these will retail at $599, $749, and $899 respectively.
The 9.7 inch iPad Pro will be available on 31 March.
