EA Mobile has just announced it's bringing "many of its most popular games" to smartphones. So expect things like Tetris, Bejeweled, The Sims, FIFA and more on platforms such as BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Symbian.
Want a little more detail? Okay. For Symbian, EA already has Doom, FIFA, Tiger Woods PGA Tour and The Sims. BlackBerry owners, meanwhile, can enjoy Tetris, Bejeweled, Scrabble (but only if they live in North America), Tiger Woods 07, SimCity Societies and Monopoly Here & Now. As for Windows Mobile there's Downtown Texas Hold 'em, Jamdat Mahjong, The Sims Bowling and Jamdat Mini Golf.
"With smartphones becoming everyday devices, we are excited to offer the fun, and high quality of EA Mobile games to a growing and important worldwide market," said Travis Boatman, vice president of Worldwide Studios for EA Mobile, rather officially. "Offering top titles for the most popular smartphones, and our recent announcement that we will develop for the iPhone, reflect our focus and commitment to emerging platforms and markets."
Regardless of the platform, EA Mobile is promising many more titles on the way. But until we know what they are for certain, we can't tell you. Sorry.
