Google has taken its virtual reality SDK out of beta complete with Google Daydream support.
Google VR SDK 1.0 is designed to smooth out common VR development tasks and supports both Google Daydream and Cardboard.
It also supports integrated asynchronous projection, high fidelity spatialized audio and the Daydream controller.
Engine support
Google has partnered with game engine makers Unity and Unreal Engine firm Epic Games, which now both support the SDK.
The first Google Daydream-ready phones and headsets are expected to launch this Autumn.
The search engine giant has updated the VR SDK site with new documentation, sample apps and tutorials.
