Neon Play CEO Oli Christie been unveiled as one of six new appointments to the board of UK trade association of TIGA.
Christie, who founded the studio in 2010 and has 11 years worth of experience making more than 200 Flash and Shockwave viral games, joins a now 15-strong team helping to run the organisation.
Boosting the board
"These are exciting yet challenging times for the UK games industry and I hope I can take my experiences of starting a new mobile games studio and help TIGA and its members in any way possible," said Christie.
"It's a great honour to be voted onto the TIGA board and I look forward to doing my bit."
Also joining the board is MD of iOS and Android outfit Remode Studios Ella Romanos.
"As a TIGA board member I will be working to ensure that our trade association supports emerging game developers across the UK," added Romanos, who also founded Extended Play, which supports the games industry in the south west of the UK.
"I also plan to be involved with TIGA's education, self-publishing and mobile and online gaming activities, and to strengthen TIGA's links with the games industry in the south west."
Other newcomers elected to join the TIGA board include Ubisoft Relections' MD Giselle Stewart, Boss Level CEO Nick Brown, Kuju CEO Adrian Hawkins and Mike Hawkyard of 4T2.
