It's already had plenty of success on Facebook, and now cross promotion platform Applifier is moving to mobile.
On Facebook and the web, the click share system works as users click on promotional banner ads which are located above casual games using the network.
The clicks through act as currency that developers and publishers can then use to promote their own titles, or sell to advertisers using the platform.
Discovery tool
Based in Helsinki, Finland and San Francisco, Applifier claims to be the largest such network on Facebook, with over 100 million clicks served across 800 games since it launched in April 2010. Most casual publishers with the exception of Zynga, which has its own Z bar, use the service.
Now live for certain partners as part of a beta test on iOS, Applifier for mobile works on the same basis, with a scrolling interstitial ad running across the bottom of a game's menu screen.
Support for Android will be added during the autumn.
