Adding to the firm's existing play in the market, Press OK Entertainment has announced its latest venture location-aware advertising platform PlacePlay Ads has launched in beta form.
The company claims the solution offers up to 10 times higher eCPMs than existing ad networks by linking up with products or services tied to a user's location.
A place for PlacePlay
Indeed, PressOK believes PlacePlay's real advantage is sidestepping Apple's current rules for iOS, which prevent developers from utilising location-based ad networks in games without location-based features.
"PlacePlay now helps developers on two fronts it not only provides them with easy-to-integrate features that Apple requires to serve hyper-local advertising, it also gives them access to a high-eCPM local banner ad network to make more money," said PressOK CEO Ryan Morel
"A hundred percent revenue share is available to the first 25 developers who launch a game with PlacePlay Ads."
Developers looking to implement PlacePlay Ads for iOS can download it from the firm's website, with an Android version launching in early 2012.
