In the first of what no doubt will be similar moves from big and small companies, Namco Networks has announced a Labor Day weekend sale across the Apple App Store and Android Market.
Starting September 3, midnight PST, most of its iOS games are reduced to 99c, although I Love Katamari and Ridge Racer Accelerated reduce to $2.99.
All Android games are reduced to $2.99, with the exception of Crush the Castle which remains at 99c.
The sale remains in price until September 7 on the App Store and September 30 on Android Market, perhaps demonstrating the harder sell on Google's still borked store.
Namco is also cutting prices 50 percent across its digital download PC games and select items of clubNacmo merchandise will be significantly reduced.
You can see the full list of reduced games here.
