Mobile monetisation outfit Flexion has released the Q3 market update for its Android, Symbian and Java game wrapper technology.
Gross revenue generated through the platform was 4.2 million (around $5.4 million) for the three months ending September 2012.
This is down from 4.5 million in the previous quarter.
World of possibilities
However, Flexion saw its reach grow with 46 million new customers added over the three months, up 140 percent year-on-year. Its cumulative user total is now 210 million
The fastest growing country continues to be Brazil, which together with Argentina and Mexico were the best performing countries in terms of consumer spend.
Flexion's biggest market in absolute terms remains Europe, though.
The most popular game of the 1,100 hosted on the platform during the quarter was EA Mobile's Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.
In terms of session volume, Flexion hosted 30.4 million free trials, of which 2.95 million converted into a premium transaction; a conversion rate of 9.7 percent.
