Got £10 to spare? Become a shareholder in GamesGrabr's social network

Gaming social network GamesGrabr has unveiled a new scheme to turn users into official company shareholders with investments beginning as low as £10.

Billed as 'the Pinterest for games', GamesGrabr allows users to post and share content related to games and game culture in general with both console and mobile titles being well represented.

Unlike other social media sites, however, GamesGrabr allows users to purchase and download games directly from its interface which generates its income via affiliate fees.

That's Pinterest-ing

Since launching three months ago, GamesGrabr has attracted over 100,000 users which has - in part - prompted the social network to open up investment opportunities to users.

With its aim of becoming "the world's largest games retail network", GamesGrabr is routing its investment opportunities through crowdfunding site CrowdCube.

The overall goal for the drive is £150,000 (around $239,000), with an equity of 7 percent.

"We now have one of the most experienced executive teams in the gaming market. We have amazing investors and a great team, but it will take a lot more" said CEO Tony Pearce, speaking on the investment opportunity.
