Little over a week since Barnes & Noble unveiled its app store for the Android 2.2-powered Nook Color, UK studio Astraware has rolled out four titles on the platform.
The games - Astraware Mahjong, Astraware Solitaire, Astraware Sudoku, and Astraware Casino - have been designed not only to take advantage of Nook Color's high resolution screen, but also to appeal to the very brand of consumer using the device.
Meeting the needs of customers with specific titles was something Barnes & Noble were keen to stress at the recent AppNation conference.
Four for all
"We've put together a selection of titles that are ideal for people who like to both relax and use their brains - which will be perfect for Nook Color owners," said CEO and founder Howard Tomlinson.
"With great features to make the games rewarding to play, and customisation to really make them your own, these will sit perfectly alongside the books, magazines, and entertainment that Nook Color owners already enjoy."
All four games are on sale for $4.99 each (Nook Color being an US exclusive), with the Android version of Astraware Mahjong exclusive to the eReader for a limited time.
