Having made its iOS debut with Zombie Jombie in March, GREE's newly formed San Francisco studio has now launched its first game on Android.
Dino Life is described as a free-to-play release that invites players to "step into a prehistoric world where dinosaurs and cavemen live in peaceful co-existence."
More importantly, however, the Android exclusive releases marks yet another attempt by the Japanese social giant to sure up its library in the west ahead of the global launch of its social mobile games platform in Q2 2012.

"GREE is excited about the recent advancements in Google Play and its potential to expand the free-to-play ecosystem on Android," said SVP of social games Eiji Araki.
"Dino Life is our first Android title and exemplifies our commitment to offer unique gameplay mechanics, great social features and highly-stylised art in each game.
"This game is another step towards creating an ecosystem of games free from geographic or operating system restrictions and is limited only by the imagination of the gamer and the developer."
For its part, Zombie Jombie reached #9 n the App Store's top free rankings, also hitting #37 in the top grossing rundown in the process.
It was quickly followed up by the studio's second iOS release, Alien Family, which launched later the same month.
