Hop on over to either of Sony's official PlayStation blogs, and you'll notice any stories on PlayStation Suite are immediately followed by comments asking when the platform is coming to handsets x, y and z.
Currently, PS Suite which brings a combination of PSone games and original content to Android devices, as well as PS Vita has made a limited appearance on Sony or Sony Ericsson devices.
However, SCE chairman Kaz Hirai has revealed handsets from rival manufacturers may soon also be welcome to join the PlayStation party.
Fun in the family
"This isn't an ecosystem where we want to keep everything within the Sony family. That's the beauty of Android," Hirai told attendees at the AsiaD conference.
"We're in discussions with non-Sony companies to bring them on board. We'll make those announcements when it's time to go public with it. This is not just for Sony devices."
In short, Sony is looking to extend the PlayStation Certified tag beyond its own devices, meaning other Android handsets may soon be able to dip into PlayStation Suite.
Back in September, Sony unveiled its PlayStation Suite SDK, which is designed to help developers work on Android and PS Suite versions of games at the same time.
