When it comes to big numbers, a million might seems like a lot.
However in the context of PSP's 60 million PSPs install base, the news that it's taken nine months to sell one million PSP Minis downloadable games isn't that impressive.
Indeed, on the day that a second iPhone game has announced five million sales, it could be viewed as rather embarrassing.
Growing pains
Of course, Sony's first attempt to offer quick-to-download, bite-sized experiences has suffered from a number of issues, ranging from price, to lack of marketing support, and the relative complication of the download process.
Things have improved a little recently however, with price promotions and the ability for PlayStation 3 owners to play PSP Minis too.
As for the 10 most popular games of the 86 currently available via the PlayStation Network, the rather odd list is as follows.
Age of Zombies (Halfbrick)
Monopoly (EA)
Fieldrunners (Subatomic)
Zombie Tycoon (Frima)
Bloons (Hands-on)
Spot The Differences! (Sanuk)
Pinball Fantasies (Cowboy Rodeo )
Mahjongg Artifacts: Chapter 2 (G5)
Yetisports Pengu Throw (Xendex)
Breakquest (Beatshapers)
