Organisers behind the first Games & Apps Fest – better known as GApp Fest – have lifted the lid on speakers bound for the London event.

According to Osney Media - which also runs the Mobile Games Forum - on board are Big Pixel Studios co-founder Dave Burpitt, Mind Candy's Moo Yu and former Codemasters man David Darling, CEO and founder of Kwalee.

Headline acts are hard to find, however, purely because all 23 speakers boast notable experience within the indie and start up scene.

"Dave Burpitt will be opening up proceedings by sharing his story of how to give birth to a game idea," say organisers Osney of the line-up.

"Ella Romanos, CEO, Remode will be debating what social and web browser developers bring to the party. And Simon Oliver, founder, HandCircus will be popping by to discuss whether smaller studios will be able to make the convergence to tablets."

Other attendees on the list include Mobile Pie's Will Luton, Future Games of London's Ian Harper, Spilt Milk Studios' Andrew Smith, Tak Fung of Supermono and Byron Atkinson-Jones of Xiotex Studios, amongst others.

GApp Fest is bound for London on 4 October.

The full roster of speakers, plus details on tickets – which start from £195 – can be found on the GApp Fest website.
