It's an undeniable fact that the strength of the competition when it comes to mobile OSs, has been growing since Samsung originally revealed bada last year.
It's no surprise then, that as the platform edges towards its launch, the company is continuing to inform developers with details of how it expects the OS to work.
Today's revelation is that bada will be a service orientated platform, Samsung telling developers the flexible OS will free them from "having to learn how to bind services with their applications in a service-specific manner".
Super service Samsung
"Samsung bada is committed to be a service oriented platform, the company says on its bada blog.
"In other words, bada is the one that talks to various services, not the applications. What you need to do as a developer is to simply use the services in the bada API, then bada automagically [sic] does all the work on behalf of you."
The company says its partnerships with Facebook, Twitter and MySpace will play an important role in this; the ability to plug social network features into apps clearly at the forefront of bada's design.
"Samsung has... prepared a rich, developer-friendly environment and support system for bada developers," the company concludes.
"In brief, bada aims to be a pioneering service oriented platform giving better user-experiences to customers, simplifying the developer process for developers, and increasing the revenue of service to providers."
Small wonder that it's been getting strong support from publishers with the likes of Com2uS, EA Mobile, Gameloft, and Capcom signed up.
