According to a Twitter tweeted by Jim Van of Logicom - a company currently testing Palms highly anticipated smartphone, the Pre - the hot new handset will see a US release date of April 30th.
The fact that Vans Twitter feed was almost immediately blocked could suggest different possibilities, depending on how reliable a source he turns out to be.
Either he let info slip that Palm wanted to announce itself, or hes simply mistaken - either way its impossible to check since his feed has been removed from Twitter, but the knee jerk reaction to his faux pas could point toward a reasonable approximation of the handsets availability.
Its still doesnt bring us any closer to information on the UKs introduction to the Palm Pre, to which O2 is now rumoured to be landing the exclusive rights.
