Most popular new platform for developers in 2011 will be Android
Survey's are only as good as their audience sample and the questions you ask but the latest graph from Business Insider chimes with industry gut feeling.

When it comes to new platforms that developers will be releasing on in 2011, Android is leading the pack.

Taken from Millennial Media's recent survey, around a third of developers reckon they will be releasing on Google's OS in 2011.

It's closely followed by iPad and, perhaps surprisingly, Windows Mobile 7, at 20 percent each.



The also-ran fill up the remaining space, with the survey's non doubt US-centric sample under estimating Symbian - or at least Ovi Store support.
