Dubbed “The Blueshift Edition”, this year’s Nordic Game conference on 20-22 May in Malmö, Sweden sets out to explore the most relevant trends in today’s gaming universe.

With the Nordic region’s vibrant games industry as a focus, the NG15 Blueshift Edition aims to explore how game development is diversifying and how it can benefit from a rapidly expanding, worldwide games industry.

From the opening NG15 keynote on 20 May by Rebecka Coutaz (Ubisoft Annecy), through a program of 80+ speakers, to the Grande Finale session on Friday 22 May, the NG15 Blueshift Edition theme will be addressed in numerous ways:

Earlier announced international NG15 speakers include Chris Avellone (Pillars of Eternity), Brianna Code (Child of Light), Ananda Gupta (XCOM/Twilight Struggle) and Ryan Cash (Alto’s Adventure), with many more to join the roster in the coming weeks.

From the Nordic scene, companies such as CoffeeStain Studio, Rock Pocket, Paradox, Avalanche, GameAnalytics and Housemarque will be ready to share their insights with over 2000 expected NG15 attendees.

Industry leaders like Unity, Microsoft, Epic, Sony and Google will all be represented in the NG15 program as well, bringing the newest technology on stage and new tracks such as “Games and the Law” and “East meet West” will join popular returning “Investing in Games” and “Nordic Fast Track” sessions, promising highly inspirational content.

Parallel to the NG15 conference program, a string of networking events will enhance that special, intimate Nordic vibe which has always been a trademark of the Nordic Game conference.

Nordic Indie Night will showcase some of the most talented indie developers in the region, the Nordic Game Awards will celebrate the best Nordic games of the past year, and the Pitch & Match lounge will provide the optimal setting for doing business at NG15.

Finally, the Expo floor will yet again be at the centre of the NG15 experience, with many exciting products on show. With only a few booths still available, the NG15 Expo is already destined to be bustling with excitement.
