All good things must come to an end and so it is that our 'That was the year that was' series for 2009 tips its hat and takes a bow.
Weve previously taken the opinions of 22 of the mobile gaming industrys brightest and best and to finish off the series, we welcome Trip Hawkins, CEO of Digital Chocolate.
The publisher had a very busy year in 2009, releasing dozens of iPhone games and being one of the most active companies in terms of reworking existing franchises in new ways. It was also quick to adopt in-app advertising and social gaming networks.
Its not just been focused on the App Store however, releasing games for BlackBerry, Android and Windows Mobile, as well as continuing its Java business, and experimenting with Xbox Live Arcade and Facebook - in the case of the latter in the shape of new title MMA Pro Fighter.
