Ubisoft's Digital Days 2013 event in Paris was an opportunity for the European press to get their hands and eyes on the latest games from the French publisher.
With a strong mobile and free-to-play showing, it's clear that the entertainment giant is pivoting to better reap the rewards from portable platforms and freemium economics.
So after going hands-on with Trials: Frontier, Valiant Hearts, Assassin's Creed Pirates, Rayman Fiesta Run, and Rabbids Big Bang, we decided to sit down with Jean-Michel Detoc - MD of Ubisoft Mobile - for a quick chat.
In the interview - nicely contained in the video below - Detoc reveals all about Ubisoft's relationship with Gameloft, why leveraging established brands is still important to them, but why encouraging creativity and new IP is a big part of their corporate focus.
