Monstercat's director of sync and partnerships Gavin Johnson has led the company's gaming business since 2013, establishing the independent electronic music label as one of the most influential music players in the industry.

Through securing direct brand and music partnerships, he has spearheaded successful collaborations with Fortnite, Rocket League, Beat Saber, Roblox, Paladins, SMITE, and others.

Johnson has also pioneered partnership programs for Monstercat’s music releases, providing frictionless music licenses to thousands of content creators, esports properties, and games companies globally. A leader in his field, Johnson was named to Forbes’ coveted ‘30 Under 30’ list in 2021.
