Verizon Wireless has sold more than one million BlackBerry Storm handsets since the device launched in November, the US operator has told MocoNews.
That's an impressive start for Research In Motion's first touchscreen BlackBerry, which has been staking out the iPhone's turf.
As the blog points out, the Storm has reached the million mark quicker than the original iPhone, although much slower than the iPhone 3G.
The news comes just days after the Wall Street Journal claimed that the Storm sold around 500,000 units in its first month on sale (i.e. up to Christmas), meaning the device has had a strong January too.
Is the Storm big for mobile games though? We haven't heard much buzz from developers and publishers about it, but perhaps that'll change once they get their heads round the sales figures.
