The Consumer Electronics Association has quadrupled the space allocated to its iLounge Pavilion at CES next year, after the initial allocation sold out just a week after launch.
"We have received an incredible response from companies interested in exhibiting in the iLounge Pavilion at the 2010 International CES," said Karen Chupka of the CEA. "This exciting new CES Pavilion reinforces the International CES as the global hub for the latest innovative technologies."
2010 will see CES' unified iPod, Phone and Mac exhibition area open up to iPhone and Mac developers and publishers for the first time, as the event goes head-to-head with MacWorld to be the must-attend trade show for the iPhone industry in the crucial month of January.
MacWorld, which in recent years has played host to pace-changing keynotes from Apple CEO Steve Jobs, will have no official Apple participation next year.
The 2010 International CES takes place January 7-10th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
MacWorld will be held in San Francisco from January 4-8th.
