Indiagames has been one of the most active mobile games publishers when it comes to licensing Bollywood movies, with its latest title being Dev D.
It's based on the film of the same name, which is itself based on the famous Indian novella Devda.
"Bollywood based games have been a great hit with the Indian mobile gamers," said Indiagames CEO Vishal Gondal at the game's launch.
"This has given producers a tremendous opportunity to extend the experience of the film to a users mobile screen. After seeing success with games like CC2C and Ghajini we are very pleased to launch a game around Dev D."
He also put some numbers on a typical Bollywood mobile game, sales-wise. According to Gondal, such titles generally sell between 50,000 and 150,000 downloads in India at an average price of 50 Rupees (around $1).
