Apple just held its annual shareholders meeting, though Steve Jobs - whos been on a leave of absence while fending off illness - wasnt in attendance. It was made public that he intends to return to his post at the iPhone company in June.
He is deeply involved in all strategic matters and has delegated day-to-day authority to Tim Cook and his team, said Arthur D. Levinson, a co-lead director at Apple.
During the meeting, Levinson reassured stockholders as to Apples relationship with Jobs, and that the matter of his succession is regularly discussed by the board.
In a previous statement, Levinson stated that ...if there is new information we deem of import to disclose, that will happen.
Heres hoping to a speedy and full recovery for the celebrated Apple co-founder to the job he so clearly enjoys.
