Weve been keeping an eye on the long forgotten Zune recently, as its supposed to be finally leaving US shores in one form or another very soon, though Microsoft is also gearing up to start pushing the Zune HD.
Despite Bills boys repeatedly insisting there is no Xbox Portable in the works, gaming website Safetys Off is suggesting the new Zune HD player will feature a touchscreen and better XNA support.
XNA is the software development kit for the Xbox network, and if the rumour proves to be true, this could essentially make the Zune HD compatible with Xbox Live games and other forms of XBL integration.
It also suggests the new mobile Halo project Microsoft has been advertising jobs for could have a portable home other than Windows Mobile.
