I have to confess I hadnt heard of Bight Games before bumping into its CEO Stuart Duncan (pictured) at the Apple WWDC.
The Canadian mobile and now iPhone developer has an interesting track record, however, as a specialist in mobile wrestling games such as THQ Wirelesss WWE Legends of WrestleMania.
Its branching out into more original titles when it comes to iPhone, though, and has signed a publishing deal with NY-based games and app outfit Sonic Boom.
Indeed, the first fruit - the addictive Big Top 10 - is already out, and reviewed on Pocket Gamer, too.
The other two games in the deal are cute match-three meets customisation experience Puzzlings and an insect-based tower defence/RTS game Kill All Bugs. Both should be live on the App Store this week, and will also be rolled out onto North American mobile carriers during 2009.
"Bight is committed to making great games, and Sonic Boom has been hugely supportive, giving us free reign to innovate," said Duncan. "Sonic has increased our distribution footprint via major wireless carriers with planned creative tie-ins."
