m:Poker launched on five different platforms

Moblyng isn't bluffing when it comes to social gaming

m:Poker launched on five different platforms
In an effort to get as many players around its virtual card table as possible, mobile and social games developer Moblyng is gearing up for a simultaneous release across five different platforms of its Texas-hold-'em poker variation, m:Poker.

"With m:Poker players can invite friends on any network to place their bets. No other poker application is quite as inclusive," says CEO and founder of Moblyng Games, Stewart Putney.

The game is now live on Android and Facebook, with compatible versions soon to be available for the iPhone, Palm Pre, Nokia N97 and Nokia 5800. m:Poker adopts the current social gaming trend of providing a free application with the option for players to buy in-game chips to enhance the experience.

"Concurrently releasing m:Poker to five distinct operating environments validates the technology and efficiency of using the Moblyng Application Development Platform to create and launch cross-platform mobile social applications," Putney concludes.

Yes. Spanner's his real name. And, yes, he's heard that joke before.
