O2 has enjoyed massive publicity thanks to its iPhone exclusivity, and people were beating down the doors to get hold of an Orange iPhone recently.
But Vodafone is a little behind with the iPhone craze, and taking a different tack in order to differentiate itself from the other iPhone vendors.
Vodafone is preparing to roll out the iPhone 3GS early next year, and has been sending out promotional emails targeted at its business customers, according to Mobile-Ent.biz, in an effort to snag a different area of the market.
"Introducing iPhone 3GS for business with highly secure corporate email, calendar, contacts and thousands of business apps, iPhone 3GS is ready to go to work," the email reads.
This is a corner of the smarphone market typically dominated by BlackBerry and a selection of Windows Mobile phones, but the tech-savvy business user is always on the lookout for the best performance (and generally isn't too concerned with costs), making the iPhone 3GS a potentially strong contender.
