Just days after location-based social app Gowalla made its debut on Android, the firm has announced its launch on Palm's webOS.
Announced via the company's official blog, Gowalla said it is delighted that both Pre and Pixi users will be able to make use of the network while on the go.
"We're completely stoked that Pre and Pixi owners can now use Gowalla, the easiest way to share places you go with friends," Gowalla said.
"With natives apps now on Palm, Android, iPhone, and mobile web for BlackBerry and other supported devices, its becoming easier and easier for everyone to go out with Gowalla."
Gowalla on the move
It's all part of a concerted effort by the app to make an impression in the genre by expanding onto as many OS as possible.
Gowalla is currently fighting it out with a whole league of apps attempting to dominate the location-based market Foursquare, MyTown, PlacePop, and Yelp, amongst others, all competing for share.
The firm has also announced a deal with Palm that will see the manufacturer give away both Pre and Pixi Plus handsets through Gowalla at the South by Southwest Interactive conference in Austin this week.
The phones will be handed out as virtual goods, later redeemable for the actual devices.
