Following on from Apple's announcement that it would be rolling out its own matchmaking and social gaming networking in the shape of Game Center, three of the four main social gaming network providers gave their take on the situation.
The one absentee was Chillingo and its Crystal SDK; well it is based in the UK and eight hours ahead of the West Coast.
Now however, its official response is out.
"We are very excited about the Apple Game Center announcement as this directly solves the current social fragmentation issues on the platform," said Joe Wee, Chillingo's MD.
"Chillingo's Crystal platform will support and integrate fully with the Game Center to reinforce and augment the underlying social services that Crystal provides. The result will be better socially integrated games for all our customers."
This is effectively the same response as the other players in the market have provided, and suggests all technologies will use Game Center as their foundation and then build special features such as monetisation tools and cross-platform support for other mobile devices on top.
