Quirky iPhone app MouthOff makes £50,000 for developer ustwo
Whether it's technically a long tail effect or just the persistence of developer ustwo, but its MouthOff app has slowly been bubbling away on the App Store since its March 2009 release.

Indeed, spread across the original MouthOff, plus the two Ben 10 versions, it's just reached the two million user session mark, with around 16,000 users during an average week. (Technically the number provided is 15,779.)

Downloads remain steady too with 350 Lite versions being downloaded per day, on average.

Splash the cash

What really matters however is the money generated, and ustwo is happy to say it's made £50,000 from the apps, with another £70-ish clocked up on a daily basis.

And there's more still to come, with creative director mills reported as saying, "MouthOff will have another stab at world domination soon".

You can find  out more about the app, and how people have been using it via its ShowUsYourMouthOff website.
