Though some consider it too little, too late, Palm has been very vocal in its attempts to woo the development community of late.
With the industry expecting a buyout now fulfilled with HP's $1.2 billion deal - Palm continues to foster an audience for webOS.
As such, it has claimed its very first developer day was a success, Palm having entertained studios back on April 24th.
"I wanted to thank everyone who came to the Palm Developer Day we all had a great time meeting everyone and sharing what we know and learning what you told us," Palm community developer manager Chuq Von Rospach said on the firm's developer blog.
Talking it over
"We're right now talking over what worked and what we think we can do better and starting to plan for future developer events...but there's a lot of enthusiasm here for how well the event went and we want to make sure push forward and do more of them."
Slides from the developer day can be found on Palm's developer website.
