iPhone's Got Talent: Apple on the hunt for the best apps of 2010
Presumably without the need for a judge wearing a pair of trousers pulled up just below the nipples, Apple has announced it is currently searching for the best apps of 2010.

The Apple Design Awards will honour apps the firm believes excel in terms of technology adoption, design and user experience, innovation and performance.

With the awards set to be handed out at WWDC 2010, all iPhone Developer Program members can submit their apps to be considered, although – interestingly enough – an app doesn't actually have to be nominated to win.

In terms of just what will be up for grabs for the winners, all Apple has said is that an Apple Design Awards trophy and "other exciting prizes" will be on offer, details set to follow.

All nominations need to have been made by May 14th, 5pm PDT.
