David Papazian and the folks at Mobigame might perhaps have a different view on the subject, but it seems there's nothing like getting beaten up by a litigious pseudo copyright holder for gaining eventual success.
Almost 12 months after its Edge game was originally pulled from the App Store following complaints from the now infamous Tim Langdell (subsequently reappearing as Edge and then EDGY), the game has shot up the charts, having finally being re-admitted under its original title for what everyone hopes is the final time.
Helped by the warm wind of general gamer support, and a price cut to 99c, the game peaked at #3 in the US paid chart and #10 in the top grossing chart over the weekend.
It's certainly one way to get around the whole app discovery problem developers are having to deal with these days.
