Having recently announced its UK office, India publisher and outsourcer Gameshastra is expanding its presence on PlayStation Network with new three PSP Minis games due over the summer.
Significantly two are ports of iPhone games, including Freeverse's Flick Fishing, which has sold over two million units on the App Store.
"We're testing various markets and partners, and we're always interested in learning," said Freeverse CEO Ian Lynch Smith concerning the deal.
From port to port
In addition, Gameshastra has licensed Skyworks's iPhone top-down city chaser Crime Wars, while its third title is original turn-based strategy game, Bee Wars Minis.
All three games have been developed internally, with Flick Fishing including all the updates for the iPhone game, and a fake multiplayer mode filling in for the lack on online features on PSP Minis games.
"We're excited to be bringing three more Minis to PSN," says Martin Ogden, Gameshastra's European boss.
"The innovation of Flick Fishing and Crime Spree has been translated from the iPhone to Minis in a way that makes them sure fire winners in the Minis format."
