148Apps hooks up with The Portable Gamer to expand gaming coverage
IPhone gaming website The Portable Gamer has announced it's joining the 148Apps network of mobile application blogs.

As part of the deal, new features will be added to The Portable Gamer and some of its content will be cross-posted on 148Apps. The site plans a relaunch later in the year too.

In addition, its founder Rob LeFebvre will join the main 148App site as editor.

Gaming focus

"We're very pleased to have TPG join our network and have Rob come on as our new editor" said 148Apps publisher Jeff Scott.

"Rob brings a great editorial sense, drive, and passion for mobile applications to 148Apps. We're both looking forward to the combined force taking to new heights."

"We're fairly ecstatic at the prospect of working with 148Apps on expanding mobile gaming coverage across both sites," said LeFebvre.

"We've already begun the process with some sweet smelling initiatives that will let us do more together now and in the near future. It's a great day for mobile gaming; we're really glad to be a part of it."
