Despite being a super hardcore kinda game - and only running on iPad and 3GS hardware or better - Japanese developer Cave has announced its shoot 'em up Dodonpachi Resurrection sold 30,000 units in the four days following its $4.99 launch.
Indeed, it got to #35 in the US paid charts, as well as topping the Japan and Hong Kong App Stores.
Fired up with love
It also reviewed well, scoring 8 from IGN Wireless, 9 from Touchgen, four stars from Slide To Play, and 7 from Pocket Gamer.
On the iPhone Quality Index, it scores an average of 8.6.
Still with the price now upped to $8.99, sales are tailing off somewhat. Dodonpachi Resurrection is currently #69 on the US App Store.
