Having launched its developer fund designed to sponsor both the development and release of Flash and social based titles back in March, Mochi Media has lifted the lid on its first four beneficiaries.
The $10 million strong fund has so far invested $400,000 in 20 different developers around the globe, handing them additional access to technical, design and testing resourses from with Mochi Media's parent company Shada Games.

The games can also tap into both development and distribution tools Mochia Media has to hand, with the first four games Planetary Conflict, Toxers, Feed the King and the soon to be released Snow Fort able to be targeted almost 40,000 websites in the process.
"This initial group of games that we're launching today is just the start of a multi-year wave of games created by developers that may not have had a chance without the support of this fund," said GM of the development fund, Justin Wong.
"The fund is a shot in the arm to the growing, but still nascent, online game development community."
Mochi Media itself is in the social gaming business, providing the tools for studios to implement social features friends lists, gift sending, in game notifications, etc in their titles.
The idea is that Mochi's social tools transcend the game's platform of choice, linking up titles across different social networks and formats.
