With Google's I/O happening this week, Apple's WWDC, Qualcomm's Uplinq, and not to mention E3, all bearing down on us, the games industry is about to enter its summer conference season.
Now, into its fourth year, the GameHorizon Conference, which is held on 28 and 29 June at the Sage, Gateshead in the UK, is also gearing up for action.
In the business
Bringing together around 400 of the industry's leading professionals to debate and analyse the future of the games industry, it's announced Louis Castle, a co-founder of Westwood Studios, and now Zynga's veep of studio, as one of its keynotes.
Other speakers include the BBC's executive vice president, Digital Entertainment Robert Knashak, game design professor Jesse Schell, RedLynx's CEO Tero Virtala, BigPoint's CEO Heiko Hubertz, and essayist Tom Chatfield.
