Fishlabs prepares for Galaxy on Fire's freemium expansion with key online and community hires
Expansive German developer Fishlabs is continuing its upsizing.

Having moved to a new office, the Hamburg-based outfit is now building up its marketing department, hiring three staff to support its ambitious plans for a new free-to-play multiplayer game within its Galaxy on Fire universe.

Christian Leibe takes the role of lead web designer, Tobias Piwek is online editor, who will be writing blog entries, website text and development diaries, while Sebastian Grun is community manager.

In the vanguard

"Christian, Tobias and Sebastian make excellent additions to our team. They will spearhead a new online offensive, which will not only help us to interact with our community in a more personal and professional way, but also enable us to reach a way higher number of fans," commented Fishlabs CEO Michael Schade.

"With their help, Fishlabs will be able to expand its present forum and support capacities many times over. And that's something we'll definitely need after the upcoming launch of a path-breaking new title within the Galaxy on Fire universe."

Leibe previously worked at developer dtp entertainment and communication agency elephantseven, while Grun joins from Blizzard's customer support operation in Ireland. Piwek is an experienced editor and freelance writer.
