Australian studio Halfbrick the developer behind Fruit Ninja and recent runaway hit Jetpack Joyride has opened up the recruitment process for a new office in Sydney.
As spotted by Gamasutra, a job listing posted on October 10 points towards openings for game programmers, artists and designers at the new base, with the Brisbane-based developer looking to expand beyond its 50 man team and into Australia's largest city.

"Our people work in smaller, self directed teams and are given opportunities to contribute to both the design and implementation across all of our games," reads the posting in question.
"As a Brick you will be given the freedom to work across multiple areas and make significant contributions to every game you work on."
Halfbrick's expansion occurs contrary to other Australian developers that have been forced to shut up shop.
THQ Australia and Bluetongue, Electronic Arts' Visceral Games branch in Melbourne, L.A. Noire studio Team Bondi, and KMM Brisbane have all been closed in recent times.
