Having enjoyed 1 million downloads within its first 10 days on iOS, Crowdstar's first ever mobile-only release Top Girl is coming to Android, hoping to tap up a female audience on Google's platform.
The first two weeks of launch, however, will see Top Girl sold exclusively through the Amazon App Store, with the studio looking to make its mark as the first mobile social game to take off on Kindle Fire.
Top trident
Top Girl is the latest game to result from CrowdStar's 'Project Trident' push, which looks to develop games across mobile, global and Facebook platforms.
"CrowdStar is entirely focused on Project Trident this year and Top Girl's Android launch is representative of that," said Blair Hamilton, head of studios at CrowdStar.
"Now our 'Girl' social gaming franchise is thriving on Facebook, iOS, and Android."
The game's launch comes after the unveiling of CrowdStar's move to foster indie development, partnering with tech incubator YouWeb to launch the $10 million strong StarFund.
