RIM have hardly had what could be called a good year.
What with falling income and the BBM blackout disaster earlier in the year, not to mention the more recent BBX to BB10 legal debacle.
But, if any one title has the potential to save its ailing 7-inch PlayBook tablet then it would be the arrival of Angry Birds.
Angry BBirds
Angry Birds has indeed landed on BlackBerry App World for the PlayBook, and stands out, along with Dead Space and a smattering of Gameloft titles as one of its few big name games.
It's much the same as you'll no doubt remember it from other formats, featuring the 288 levels of pig smashing and bird flinging we all know so well.
Angry Birds: Seasons and Angry Birds: Rio are also available on the PlayBook, with the three individual titles costing $4.99 each.
Whether or not Angry Birds can help shift a few of the excess PlayBooks RIM still has in abundance remains to be seen.
